Not long ago, if you were to walk into an HR office, you likely would have seen desks covered in pieces of paper — resumes piled up in a big stack, leave request forms, printed contracts, and policy manuals that were ages out of date. HR teams were inundated with admin work. After recording leave request forms, employee files, or a policy update, there was simply no time left to focus on people. Today, the scene of human resources is much different. Human resources departments are going much leaner and smarter by emphasizing significant employee experiences from hiring, onboarding, training, promotions, and the entire lifespan of an employee's experience with an organization, due to one significant enhancement with human resources software.
